Every DOI you have published, checked: does it resolve, is the journal trustworthy, is the record complete, has anything been retracted or corrected.
Why this matters
Promotion committees and reviewers click your DOIs. A dead link, a retraction notice you did not know about, or a D-rated journal in your list costs more than the paper earned. This page shows what they will see — and what to ask the journal to fix.
Keep it clean
- Add every DOI to your ORCID record (works → add by DOI).
- Prefer journals rated A–B; ask C-rated ones to fix their items before you submit.
- Deposit accepted manuscripts in your institutional repository or Zenodo — your right under most licences.
- Never pay for citations or "fast track"; both are detectable and both end careers.
