ScholaRef watches Crossref for you. When a DOI appears under your name — or in a journal you follow — you get one e-mail with the link and the five things worth doing in the first hour: check the record, add it to ORCID, deposit the accepted manuscript, export it, tell your co-authors. Small journals never send this; the registry does not either.

How it works
Once a day the platform asks Crossref for works created since the last look — by ORCID, by author name inside a journal or prefix, by journal, or by prefix. A name watch is confirmed against the paper's author list before it counts. Nothing is written to any registry; only the public API is read.
For editors too
Watch your own ISSN and you see every DOI your sponsor registers the day it lands — and every one that appears under your prefix that you did not expect.
Honest limits
Crossref indexes a new DOI within minutes to hours of registration; the alert follows on the next daily run. Papers registered at DataCite or mEDRA are not seen. A name watch without a journal or prefix can match namesakes — narrow it.
